Data we use
Account details, membership status, partner applications, session metadata, user-requested AI assists, safety reports, and device/network diagnostics.
Video and audio
Live media is transported by the video provider. LIAN does not record sessions by default. If recording is introduced, both participants must receive clear notice and consent.
AI assistance
The browser may keep a short rolling audio buffer in memory so the assistant can understand the latest sentence. It is sent to the AI provider only when you deliberately tap for help, and is not retained as a full-session recording.
Your choices
The account page lets you download a portable copy of your data and request deletion. Partner balances or deposits must be settled first. Some payment, fraud-prevention, and safety records may be retained where law or legitimate safety obligations require it.
Retention
Rate-limit records are removed after about 1 day; temporary AI-assistance and transcript records after about 30 days; and product analytics after about 13 months. Payment, tax, dispute, and serious safety records may need longer retention under applicable law.
Service providers and transfers
LIAN uses infrastructure, authentication/database, video, AI, and payment providers to deliver the service. The final notice will name the active providers, their processing purposes, relevant international transfers, and the safeguards available to users in each launch market.
Contact and rights
The final published notice will identify the data controller and privacy contact. Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or complain to a regulator.
